    Annie Moses Band - Thursday, October 10th, 2019 - 7:00 PM

Named for their great grandmother, Annie Moses Band began in 2001 with lead singer/violinist, Annie Wolaver Dupre, and her siblings, Alex (viola) and Benjamin (cello).

Juilliard-educated, the trio united with a rhythm section led by their father, award-winning composer/arranger/pianist Bill Wolaver, and began touring the United States, performing a 33 concert run in their second year. Over the years, the group has expanded to include 6 siblings.

To date, they have recorded 15 albums, several DVDs, and performed in hundreds of venues across the United States, in Europe, and Asia.

    DVoce Christmas Program - Monday, December 9th, 2019 - 7:00 PM

The D’Voce Community Choir was established in 2018 by Mrs. Karen Kelly.  She desired to bring the community together through the singing of beautiful Christian music.  Practices began in September of 2018 under the direction of the incredible Mrs. Marla Sitton.  Season 1’s number was a gorgeous Christmas cantata titled “Almost There” performed at the Montezuma-Cortez High School auditorium.  Reactions to our sole show of the season were overwhelmingly positive, from audience and choir members alike.  Thus, plans for Season 2 began immediately following.

A Board was formed entering Season 2, to help with fundraising, advertisement, details, etc.  The choir runs between 30-40 members but looks to add new members each year.  The founder and members of the group count it an honor and privilege to sing with this amazing group, especially under the direction of Mrs. Sitton!  In addition to being an extraordinary director and musician, she always makes rehearsals fun and enjoyable.

We are honored and excited to share our music with the wonderful members and patrons of the Southwest Colorado Concert Series this year.  Our performance this year is titled “Bethlehem Morning” and will be held Monday, December 9th, at 7:00 pm in the Montezuma Cortez High School auditorium.
